PSG Asserts No Permanent Sale of Arsenal, Barcelona-Linked Star Planned for Summer Window

Paris Saint-Germain have a rising star in Xavi Simons, who is considered one of football’s most promising young talents. Nonetheless, the 21-year-old has an uncertain future as the summer transfer period approaches.

A recent report from RMC Sport revealed that Simons will not return to PSG this summer, as the player lacks the motivation to continue in the French capital.

This information brought a glimmer of hope to clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and FC Barcelona, who are reportedly eyeing the Dutchman. Nonetheless, transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano provided the latest on this file.

According to Romano, PSG reached out to Simons’ representatives to clarify that they don’t plan to sell him permanently this summer.

If Simons prefers not to return, a loan move is on the table and seems to be the most probable scenario. Simons will be involved in choosing his next loan destination.
